An explanation from someone who knows would be nice as there has been multiple comments about Sploofus slowing down or not loading and not just in the middle of the night-off and on alll the time. Sure would be angry if I still wrote quizzes and someone did NOT address this - Linda

Sure would be nice if this was a Beach Boys song

I'm getting worried, Sploofus seems way too quick for me. Sometimes Andy knows i mean before i've even posted.

Wouldn't it be nice to live together in the kinda world where we belong? Aah love that song, and wouldn't it be nice!

I haven't experienced any slowing down of Sploofus at any time of the day, other than perhaps some slow word round loading times??? I don't play the trivia quizzes, but I'm not sure what all the fuss is about.

I've noticed no change in the site as long as I use Foxfire. When I log in using IE everything runs fine MOST of the time. I use IE almost everywhere else. Just used to it I suppose.

When you hit the submit button, and have time to get up and fix a cup of coffee while the button image scrolls (or whatever you call what it does), then it's slow. But this is what I face most of the time, so I just assume it's my ISP.

I think you can now add microwaving a bag of popcorn while you're making your coffee...

(this isn't about you Pepper) She was a nice girl, a proper girl
Without googling, anyone know the song?

Janice, that was a great guess ... and true ... just not in the script or music.

My clue might be too obscure, the song just popped in my mind

Sung by Guy Mitchell in 1950, here's the chorus

(She had a dark and a-rovin' eye-uh-eye and her hair hung down in ring-a-lets)
(She was a nice girl, a proper girl but one of the rovin' kind)
