There are lots of good memories of Ed McMahon, and we will all miss him.

I just read about that. He was a great sidekick to Carson and a perfect genial foil. I have fond memories of The Tonight Show.

One of the books I am reading is "When Television Was Young", written by Ed with David Fisher (2007). A very good (funny) book. One of the genuine good people in a profession full of a$$holes.

Always seemed like an okay guy to me.

Adios, Ed, thanks for the chuckles.

So the guy was a comedian? I generally remember him as the sweepstakes guy. I always wanted him to show up with that big cardboard check!!
