RELIGION GROUP

I admit it. I joined one time to see what you guys were talking about. Decided it wasn't my thing, and chose to "leave this group". Well, now every time I check, I'm still a member. Yet, other groups that I haven't quit I'm absent from. What gives?

The groups thing is a big C.F.

C.F.? I'm so bad at these.. Ohhhh, I work in a hospital. I know what CF is. It's when there's an emergency in a patient's room and they call a code, and 25 people show up. Go back to your floors everyone, please!

Miltary term for a situation caused by too many inept officers...

You got it, Sandy - Crowd Forming.

Exactly right. In hospitals, when a patient "codes", it means they're near death, and need meds, defibrillation, CPR, etc. When they call a code though, often, a lot of people show up who aren't needed, resulting in a C.F. They mean well, but they have to be cleared out.

Oh, Don, that is so sweet!

But don't be so hard on yourself. Please feel confident that you piss me off just fine without having to join.

(Do Christians get to say "piss off"?)

(JK, I you man.)

Well, if I were a person of faith, I'd take your inability to get out of the Religion Group to be a sign from the Lord.

hahahaha - then I'd have to take it as a sign from the Lord that it kicks me out of the Bible group at least once a month and I have to rejoin, over and over again.

Plus it has me as a member twice of the Pets group - and I quit and both disappear - and next time I go in, voila'! I'm a member twice over again.

I personally prefer snafu over cf, you can say snafu all over the place and people don't seem to mind. I don't get it, after all, the "fu" isn't meant for polite company.
Fubar from Private Ryan is also quite good.

Because the WSU Cougs are big rivals of UCLA, I used to have a sweatshirt that said FUCLA.

A friend once made me a tshirt with a giant screw on the back, and "Purdue" at the bottom. IU fan here.
