IF YOUR LIFE WAS MADE INTO A MOVIE...

What genre would it be?

Mine would probably be a dark comedy or a pythonesque farce.

Is boring a genre?

It would be like if Seinfeld was made into a movie. So what genre is a movie about nothing?

I don't know about the genre, but as it would contain sex, drugs and rock & roll it would be a blockbuster!

Andy.

They already did...

Dangerous Minds
Stand and Deliver
Lean on Me
Take the Lead
Hamlet 2
Up the Down Staircase
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
Mr. Holland's Opus (I should be so lucky as to touch so many lives)
Dead Poet's Society (the parts about parental aversion to Shakespeare, anyway)
in many ways, Renaissance Man (minus the army part)
and any film in which someone said "Hey, let's put on a play!"

Mine would be rated R for sex, nudity and violence. Title? Oh, maybe "The Beer Hunter", or as my wife suggested "The Jerk"

Suzer: "any film in which someone said "Hey, let's put on a play!"
Well, that would be just about every Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney movie ever made!

A film about me would have to be a comedy with Marjorie Main being resurrected to play me!

(to those of you too young to recall, she was Ma Kettle.)

I never even thought of a title for my film. It would either have to be "Dances With No One" or "The Wizard of Odd".

I am not certain, but Quentin Tarantino or the Coen Brothers should direct it.

Bobo, that is too weird. The only reason I did not mention Kubrick is because he is dead. Otherwise, he was there.

TCM did 24 hours of his films the other day. When I watched it I realized I had seen all of his films, most of them at the movies! He is one of my favorite directors along with Altman, Scorcese and Hitchcock. He was so ahead of his time.

I have seen all of his movies except a few of the earliest. He is a major favorite.

The other director I bypassed for logistical reasons is Roman Polanski.

I love Polanski films, The Pianist is among my favorites. Of course Chinatown, and Rosemarys Baby. He is a great director. I don't care about his criminal charges in the US and neither does anyone else.

Andy, this is an entertainment thread not an indictment on moral decay among movie directors. You are so tiresome, I just saw a documentary on Polanski. The woman involved in case has forgiven him and basically he go screwed by the legal system (a corrupt judge). I really don't care about his private life he is a great director. If I am not mistaken your adopted country France gave him asylum. If I were you I would quit while I was ahead. What movie would your life be about I wonder?
I could think of quite a few.

I see myself portrayed as a brave, intelligent, well endowed porn star.
My wife suggests that I would be more like "Chicken Little" in a Bevis & Butt-Head cartoon.

You brought up his criminal charges, Bobo, and are willing to dismiss them. I am not and apparently neither are the authorities who protect young girls in our society from statutory rape. Don't make this any more than that because that's all it is.

Personally. I would like someone like Kevin Costner, or John Goodman to portray me in " The great adventures of Barnie"

Love to respect your request, Barnie, but Bobo would not lest it rest.

Bobo, I'm rather liberal socially, but most draw the line at pedophilia and statutory rape of 13-year old girls even if you don't.
