Not quite sure I totally understand all, of this but do know the the American people are regularly given a load of BS from people who sound good and we think should know

Linda, my dealings with AIG have been hilarious. In settling my late father's estate I had to send four register letters containing death certificates and POA documents before the dumb asses could find them. I once called and the lady that told me that she had not received them had signed for them the week before. I was told that without originals of everything they would not even discuss the matter with me. They would not except copies of any documents. I was accused of running a scam on them for trying to get my ailing mother's settlement. Their words came back to haunt them.

The clowns paid up, twice in fact. For months they called asking for a return of their funds. For months I put them on hold and did WordRounds until they hung up. Finally I did discuss the matter with them. I told them to please forward be the original canceled checks and we could discuss it. She said that that was impossible. I stated that she could in no way expect me to pay what was rightfully hers unless I had all pertinent original documents. After she finished crying her supervisor came on the line and stated that my mother should keep the money. Guess what. We did.

So in part I would say to go ahead and blame me for the failure of AIG. The Turds with ears running the place did not hurt the chances of failure, either.

nice one Felix!

What goes around comes around. If they'd dealt with you fairly none of this would have happened.

A bit off topic but find it interesting that Madoff received his sentence today. Who knew that our now Secretary of Treasury -Tim Geitner was the man who was in charge of overseeing him in NY? Reward for job well done, Tim. LOL
