HUMIDITY, HAH!

No one has posted one those "feel good" threads today. So, I'd like to say, that when I dried off after my shower today, I was drier than when I was in the shower. Made me very happy!

Wonderful weather here in the Pacific NW. We got some sunshine today! I actually earned a bit of a tan from yesterday's run!

Let's see. You got a tan AND some exercise while chasing down the Schwann man?

A five star day, indeed!

Nothing to write home about. We used to get pizzas and
cheese sticks every once in a while. I'm not sure what
the attraction is, exactly, but I see them pretty regular.
There are definitely less expensive options.

I'm not a serious "foodie" but buying the local stuff whenever possible is the best. This "Schwuan's" thing sounds like crap.

They have great ice cream products, some good food, but they are expensive. The best part though, is that they deliver food to your door. It simply doesn't get any better than that, unless they would come in, put it away, and do a little housework while they were at it.

Hey, Hey, HEEEEEEEY! Be nice.

My sister (who lives in Indiana) swears by the Schwan's man. Allegedly the stuff is pretty good. *And* they make regular deliveries to remote rural locations, which is always a plus.

'Course, I understand that the Schwan's man is quite the cutie. I'm pretty sure that his attractiveness has *nothing* to do with my sister ordering her food from him.

Really.

Sure it doesn't
Just that here in Indiana in the summer, the local produce is unbeatable!
Can't get a fresh artichoke for shit though!

I had a neighbor a few years ago who swore by the Schwan's man. And he must have, sure enough, gone in, put the food up, did a little housecleaning....maybe he even cooked it for her, cause he sure was there a long time every day he made a delivery.

Lucky girl. I bet she scored some free ice cream every now and then.

Totally worth it.

Speaking of seafood, I saw on the news that the Maine lobster business is suffering. Sure enough, one of my fav shopping places, livelob.com, has 4 live Maine lobsters, originally $119.95, marked down to $79.95.

They have great gift packages.

After absolutely ruining a shirt in Maine, eating lobster, I decided the next time, I was going to just cut some holes in a garbage bag and wear it. When my friends from AK and I were in Maine, we stopped at one of the little stands and bought lobster out of some guy's garage. We bought 3 huge lobsters for a total of $15.00.

That was a fun trip. One of my friends will be here in 3 weeks to Death Float. Hopefully, both will make it.

Schwan's food is pretty good, convenient but it is a little more expensive. I used to buy quite a bit of Schwan's food when I was working - unfortunately, can't afford it now. But I sure miss it. Yep, they'll stop at the house, even if you aren't home, go in and put the food in the freezer. Well they won't at my house - no one wants to run through 3 big dogs to get to the kitchen.

At the office he would put the food in the freezer for me while I made out the check.

They are finally getting smart and developing healthier dishes, cutting out lots of the fats.

Humidity? I'm growing gills here. Nah.....that's liquid sunshine.

We get Florida lobsters (no claws), tails only for $2 a tail, or sometimes free from my son's friend who dives. YUMMO!

Have fun on the Death Float!
