My latest bus trip (yesterday) was taking a group of 4th & 8th graders to The Henry Ford Museum/Greenfield Village. I have been there several times, both as a driver and visitor. If you have never been there, you don't know what you are missing. And I will point out it will take most of 2 days to really see everything, unless you are a sprinter who breezes through museums, etc. and thinks they really saw it all. Anyway, they have a new feature display that was definitely worth the trip, even for a guy who has been there so many times.

Rock Stars, Cars and Guitars 2 is a must visit for fans of any or all of these subjects. I wish I had a notepad with me so I could have developed a quiz. It runs through September 7th. You can go to:

for more info.

Weird that the Jonas Brothers clothing is included in the rock stars section, next to the KISS costumes and Alice Cooper's guillotine.

I agree, they definitely do not rock. Also, Miley Cyrus' Smart Car is on display...but the other stuff more than makes up for it. The biggest surprise is how much stuff Rick Nielsen provided. Super cool, especially the checkerboard John Deere garden tractor.

Saw that. I had the pleasure of seeing Cheap Trick recently.

When I was a kid I had cousins who lived in Detroit, so I spent the better part of 2 weeks every other summer at Greenfield Village. Oh yes, and then there was Boblo. "We have to see the cars again?" Whine, whine, whine. I do remember the clocks fondly though.

One of my favorite spots. Fortunately the museum and village are only 45 minutes away so I have been there more than once. If you only have time for one day I would suggest the museum.
