OFF THE CUFF PHOTO GAME

Hey all,

I was thinking about spending a few hours putting together a photo "matching game".

Something like this:

Anyone interested e-mails me a head shot (or any shot that shows most of your face and I will crop it). I assemble all of the submitted photos into a numbered collage.

Beneath the photos will be a numbered list of the randomized user names of those pictured.

The person who correctly matches the most usernames to the photos wins.

Simple - fun. Prize would be a lifetime Platinum membership.

Any ideas to make it more fun?

Justin

Sounds like a lot of fun. Who wouldn't love a lifetime membership??!!! What is your email address?

Ahhh don't send pics yet! Let's get the idea all wrapped up first and then I may put together a web form where you can just upload your picture(s) from here on the site.

Looking for some novel ideas here.

Justin

Sounds a great idea.
Are you envisaging people in a get-up (fancy dress party?) or regular clothes?

Might be fun to do bits and pieces of avatars, too.

Great idea Bbear. Would be more fun to do avatars, I think, since most of us don't know what others look like.

That means I would have to stick to one particular avatar.

Sounds fun.

I miss the musical game that we had with the WTHAI?

I also really miss the "Name That Tune" which we used to have. Wonder if we could have it back along with the Who and Where The Heck Am I's? Not trying to be greedy, but used to enjoy it.

Marilyn...

Life time ... great idea. Can I enter more than once ... kind of like the NCAA tournament predictions. Fortunately, Surreyman only needs his avatar as that is the picture his wife took of him 20 years ago. Isn't Barry already De Czar of Word Puzzles???

Sounds like a lot of fun. Avatars would be easier, as was pointed out, since most of us don't know other members.

Ok - if it gets me deleted or it gets me thrown out or whatever.

Please fix what needs fixed before you spend time adding new stuff. I bet everybody will love you more.

It sounds like appeasement to me. You little kiddies all play nicely, and uncle Justin will show you some pretty pictures. Your comments about fixing current problems are bang on.

Hmmm, I thought Justin suggested a fun game that would keep us occupied while he got some work done. Still sounds like fun to me.

We tend to do that at our site where I work. It's exciting and fun to improve, create and innovate so we naturally go for that...but we never get those bugs worked out until they become huge problems.

Innovations, new stuff and fun are important! They give the site vitality, bring in new people and keep the excitement and technology alive. But...please make sure you do take steps to fix those problems. It zaps the fun right out to fight with bugs. Just discipline yourself a couple hours regularly and chip away at those less-fun problems. The site will become incredible! We will stop complaining. That alone should motivate you.

So glad you are feeling alive and happy again.
