I thought that was fabulous. In fact, I see the start of another series here. Suzer, how would you feel if we all copied your idea? That would be another great way to get to know each other better.

I would LOVE to see other players create acrostic autobio WPs! It was quite a challenge to write. I started writing acrostics about all things Sploofus but the only decent ones kept coming out in the first person, so I changed the idea to be more things about me (after all, I do know me pretty well!).

Perhaps I should DARE other players to do this (I know how some of you can't resist a dare )

That was terrific -- though I didn't get it until #5. I think it would be a great idea for other players to follow suit.

Very challenging, very clever, most enjoyable.

Utterly nuanced but extremely likable, intelligent, evenhanded. Voracious attempter brings lofty esteem.

Kudos to Suzer for her very clever WP, and the hard work it obviously required. It was both interesting and entertaining.

However, I'm concerned about this becoming a regular WP format. Acrostics, while fun, generally require many non-standard wording choices. Even though Suzer did a remarkable job of putting these puzzles together, solving them was often a struggle because of phrasing you just wouldn't see in any other context. To meet the acrostic requirement, authors will likely depend on some very forced expressions. Combining this with autobiographical information (which is pretty hard for us to figure out), there will likely be many phrases that will require lots of trial-and-error clicking on random letters. And that, at least for me, is when WPs become considerably less enjoyable.

It was indeed a tour de force.
and yes I too see the problem mentioned above; it surely took you along time to write phrases that tripped off the tongue or at least were not too stilted.
Others won't take as much time or have your talent. I dont think it will be easy to do as well as you here!

I am so glad people are enjoying it (and don't think I haven't noticed your acrostic words of praise!). I was a little worried it would come off as too ego-centric.

I would be happy to work on a co-authored WP with anyone who wanted to create some word play Slicko and I have one coming up, hopefully sometime soon!

Thanks Suzer for all the hard work you put into this puzzle.
It's one of my favorite type of puzzles.
I had to take my time and do a lot of thinking but I really ENJOYED solving it.
Would love to do more of these.

Nearsighted Iranians fabricate tuneful yodels...

And THAT, my friends, is why I leave acrostics to the professionals.

Great job, Suzer!

ack!! I forgot to play this morning, so I had to race in at 7:56 and whip through it as fast as I could--you can imagine my score I bet it would have been really fun otherwise!

Just couldn't resist doing this one - a little rusty after a few days off but this was awesome.
