I didn't do worth squat, but it was a nice, hot summer break to have a puzzle with short and sweet solutions. Very enjoyable!

Great puzzle -- makes a change to have vowel problems not bowel problems though. That Romanian food.....

As broad as they were, surely one of the clues-answers was an incorrect match.

We usually poo-poo short puzzles but like this one. Actually got one without any letters. No one so far has gotten well while keeping all their points. Good one!

I thought the pattern was using the name of a capital city with a food item to name a specific food or dish. I was clicking along until ... Yorkshire ain't no capital!

This was a very clever puzzle, with some good clues/answers. Bravo.

I learned a lesson here. Never attempt a WP when you are incandescent with rage. I should have done well here ( i coulda been a contender), but i was absolutely useless. Great puzzle, sorry i ruined it (for me).

I enjoyed it too. Made me hungry.

I don't suppose peppermint patties were one of the phrases- thought so!

Beef Wellington with a Polynesian clue? Am I missing something? Surely, that's the most European of dishes.

I had the same inital reaction. Even took an extra letter to be sure. But remember the "Worldwide" part of the title--Wellington referred, in this puzzle, to the New Zealand capital.

That flitted through my pea brain, then was gone again. I guess I'm forgetting New Zealand's proximity to the Fiji area. And that all my other cities were in the region of their clues.
