Thaddeus McCotter, Republican congressman Michigan, will introduce a resolution in the House tonight asking President Obama to formally apologize to the Cambridge Police Department.

And there you have it people; this is what you pay your Congress for!

Michigan has 15% unemployment. Don't you think he should be working to solve Michigan's unemployment! The darkest hour is always before the dawn. Hang in there Michigan,

Maybe if you charged more than people can afford to pay for cars, then that will bring back jobs. Oh Wait. You've already tried that. Go Figure.

At least Gov Jennifer Granholm is better than Republican Governors Rick Perry; ditto Bobby "Cat in the Hat" Jindel". They refused the stimulus checks because they didn't want it for their states. Gov. Rick Perry is now in need of additional funds for his state.

Bobby "Cat in the Hat" Jindel"refused part of the money, and told other governors to do the same. Now he’s passing out big A$$ stimulus card board checks on his national tours.

The "Cat in the Hat” speech, lambasted the federal government’s spending and has done so while on the Louisiana road to handout checks to parish leaders as he has appeared on the national print and television. One would think the "Cat in the Hat”is the Grinch who stole Christmas. All you need is snow Gov Jindel.

Two hypocritical tools who care nothing about their states. BTW: Governor Jindal has said the money were from the devil.
I see another exorcism coming.

We need a left fielder on our church softball team. Since you are already out there are you interested? How in the hell do you compare the governors of Michigan and Louisiana ( other than in heights) anyway?

That was a contrast;. What about the guy who is taking the State of Michigan's money to waste time asking for an apology who should be doing something very vital; like working with the President?

Where is it written that everyone must follow the President? Even people that crowned him savior on this site have backed away from him. He is a non proven entity. Since the poll are showing him less popular, we cannot all be wrong. I think he has an agenda that would make our founding forefathers spin in their graves.

I suppose this site has a lot to do with color.

Beverly, you've crossed the line with that accusation, and I think you need to apologize ... or at least buy all of us a beer and talk about what we can do so that it doesn't happen again

Wrong again, Beverly, and Sgt Crowley's actions had nothing to do with color either.

Maybe you ought to consider for just a moment Sgt Crowley's situation. He did his job correctly. He came to be criticized for that on national television by the President of the United States who was not familiar with the details of the case. The President has yet to offer an apology and at last word was still siding with the offender in the case. And now he has to go to the White House to participate in a meeting where the President will try to paper all this over in a teaching moment on racial profiling which this case never was.

On yea, I think you should ask that Congressman to buy ya'all a beer instead of spending tax dollars and using stall tactics to waste Congress' time. Make it a big F*****family affair while you're at it.

*He is the President of the United States .
*The Police lied about the statement and see this unfolding before you eyes
* The nation needs to subjected to this racial abuse because of some nut's resolution.
* 2 wars
*Massive debt regardless of whose fault it is
*North Korea

What's the next step Impeachment? Only in America.

Guess what? That is why the world could take a dim view of the s0-called land of opportunity. Double standard!

Racism is going be the downfall of this country if you don't allow for change.

"Gov. Rick Perry is now in need of additional funds for his state."

PLEASE give supporting links when you make comments like that. If you have no proof, please making outrageous claims.

Texas has one of the best economies in the nation with 5.7% unemployment - and it's probably only that high because we have such a huge number of illegal aliens working here.

Many states are not taking stimulus money because they know the truth. The truth is, the federal government gives them these dollars for programs they demand they pay for. Then in a short amount of time, the federal money ends and the state is left with huge programs and no way to pay for them.

I think each governor who has not allowed the federal government to bully them has acted wisely.
