I agree with Beth and Barry, nice puzzle but also difficult.

It was tough yeah, but it was something you could work on too. I made two stupid typing errors which cost me two pink screens, i enjoyed it though.

But I wish to know why there's a
difference between an "l" and an "I"
The puzzle accepts one and not the
other - and I can never remember
which is which

When in Rome- learn the numerals. I have never been there- so it was a challenge for sure. But fun and educational to solve.

An inauspicious start to the month since I got booted in the first puzzle, and by the time my support ticket was answered, the WP had ended. Looked like fun -- although I had just realized "Gettysburg" wasn''t looking for "IVscore and X" when I got dropped.

This quiz brought back memories of roman numbers and how to get a year with roman number. Good and interesting WP.
the MDCCCLXXXIII was particulary fun to guess.
