WATCH OUT FOR A GREAT WP

Had to rush through it --three typos from sheer carelessness!!
But a great puzzle. Thanks DG.

I enjoyed it greatly too. In response to one of the "answers", and not giving anything away, i'd just like to say "Not to me they don't !" I bet you can guess which one

No less then 3 screens of "you are an idiot and should learn to type."

I know the one to which you are referring.

Usually, I am quite conservative for WPs. I don't like anything fancy and too original. But this one is very good and very cleverly done. Very enjoyable.

Lodi, did you mean "No less thAn three screens."

If so, you really should learn to type.

Cheers

Andy

PS I prepare all phrases in WordPerfect where they are spell-checked and extra spaces are removed as well. Then I carefully paste the phrase into the box.

Thank you to all who left nice comments! Yes, there will be more--just sent one to my editor, in fact. I figured I could contribute a few before I head out of town--especially since I'm not in the competition.

Congrats to the top scorers! Last I looked, the top 5 were Smoke, Slicko, Virtus, Oldcougar, and Digs.Wow, talk about the "usual suspects"!

I'm guessing, Clevercloggs, that you're referring to the puzzle about Jehovah's Witnesses passing out Watchtower magazines. You're probably right, "passing them out" kind of implies that they were "taken." Obviously not the case for many who answer the door.

And I was #6 (could have leapfrogged the whole bunch had I noticed that there was a word between "Orwell's" and "Nineteen"...)

I kept ing for the hook when I started the puzzle. Figured out Daveguth's theme playing the first one, and the rest fell into line.
I ed my score hold in top ten for awhile but - not to be!
I've submitted a w.p too- keep ing for it in a few weeks.

That's the one !!!! And in the words of the mighty Floyd........

If you negotiate the minefield in the drive
And beat the dogs and cheat the cold electronic eyes
And if you make it past the shotguns in the hall,
Dial the combination, open the priesthole
And if I'm in I'll tell you ....................
