He had to do technical stuff because of a hacker, but he's fixing the snafus now and stats should be showing up.

I kept freezing up in WP and if I backed out I could then start again - but all it started where I had stopped. At first i tried to click a few random letters and it said they were not in the puzzle but then when I got back into it they were there in the boxes but the points had gone

I hate hackers along with people who write virus software it is just so mindless.

Ditto Mrsgc, same thing here.

First puzzle, loaded fast, looked good,..then I clicked a letter. All the letter boxes disappeared, and in frustration I clicked about 6-7 more times until I got an error message.

I was able to log back into it, but I had already lost about 500 points. Was a good puzzle too, like the theme ones.

Today, I got to puzzle two (on Mysterious Quotations) and submitted an answer it said it was incorrect - so I picked a few more letters - all in the places I expected them - so I retyped the answer - incorrect again. I then tried a few more letters - STILL the answer looked like the one I thought so I tried subitting it again paying very close attention to the typing of it just incase. - Still wrong - I then went through every letter I thought was in the answer - they were all there! The answer was exactly as my first solution had been.
I reentered the letters checking each on with the now completed puzzle - typing slowly letter by letter and still it came up as being wrong. No way forward.
That is two puzzles in a row now both favourite forms that have messed up. I feel most upset by this one as it was quotations which - a subject I have loved from childhood and I normally do pretty well on.
I am dreading the next one now in case that messes up too - I will have serious withdrawal symptons soon lol

I have been having trouble with the word puzzle letters "locking up" also. If I leave the site, I lose my chance at the puzzle. Also I have been having some problems in quiz creation. When i am finished writing a question and click add the question, it often goes back to where I have to resign in to Sploofus again and thus retype the question. Not so bad when it is a short question, but when it is the "Detail" section it is quite frustrating. (Thos of yuou who know me, know my detasil section is usually lengthy lol ) Linda

Talk about messed up - I just got a WR time of *negative* 0.59 seconds! How bizarre. I opened a support ticket on it, btw.

I find that when this happens, I'm making a mistake in the wp that I can't seem to figure out. Like I'm sure the word is "trapped" but the word is actually something like "wrapped." I will go over and over and over and retype it very carefully, only to get it wrong every time. Then I'll take a closer look at the WP and realize that it couldn't be the word I thought it was because I've already guessed the letter T and its not in that first letter spot of the word.

I can't tell you how many times I've done this, but its a lot!

my favorite error to hate is the dreaded double space between words

the above 'no name' post was mine. I know what you mean Eesus but on this one I definatly typed it letter for letter (and with only one space) especially after the forst couple of mess ups.

I think the one I get caught out most on is adding punctuation, which is weird ocs I am normally so good at omitting it lol

I am also brilliant at forgeting to read what I have typed through a couple of times as you can't edit posts on hear.
