Hillary is a woman of her own accomplishments. Good for her to set the record straight. WTG, you go girl.

The rest of the story:

The translator made a mistake. The student was asking for the opinion of President Obama but the translator asked for the opinion of President Clinton.

A primary purpose of her trip is to speak in support of women's rights in Africa, so that's part of the context, too. I'd probably react the same way if I'd traveled halfway around the world to a place where women have no rights to share my ideas and was asked for my husband's instead.

She's doing a fine job. Pantsuit is awful, though.

When I saw that clip, I thought it's the most beautiful I've seen her. She looks like she's in her element and greatly enjoying it.

Her reactions deserve nothing but respect. How can anyone compare that Palin thing to her ?

She did look good, hair's great too, but the pantsuit's still ugly.

Only my opinion. I'd have gone with something darker and less huggy across the tummy.

Then again, I live my life in stretch jeans and tee shirts with race cars, who am I to judge?

Tell me we're not *really* dissecting her outfit and hair rather than the substance of her talk.

I weep...

Don't know the substance of the talk, just responded to the topic of the thread.

And to be fair, if I talk about Palin's wardrobe choices, then I'm honor bound to talk about Hillary's.

Don't usually have much use for Hillary but I back her up on this one.

I've never liked Hillary (because I understand she has engaged in numerous criminal acts starting in arkieville and ruined her husband's Presidency 1993-94), but she's growing on me as Sec of State.

In any case I wish we would stop judging female politicians by how they look and what they wear.

Didn't judge her by what she's wearing, judged what she's wearing. Madeleine Albright was no fashion plate either, but she was a brilliant Secretary of State. I love Hillary. She's much more than a pantsuit, I just don't like the color.

Not going there, Andre. I mean, really, why?

Stuff to do, beers to drink, questions to ask, people to see. FUN!

Au revoir.

I drink wine with dinner. Couple a beers every year, but the good ones never seem to get down this far from northern Europe.

He just died, didn't he?

After the Gallo brothers the most important person in American wine.

I like Zinfandel and won't bring it back anymore because I have to pack it in my checked luggage. About to order some Primitivo from S Italy which is the same grape.

I had not heard that he died??? That is very sad. His family is so nice, never met him but his fam came into our office regularly. Even sold his daughter in law some life insurance....she had none! Go figure, worth millions and had no coverage.

I have had some wines from italy that some clients have brought me back....don't remember the names...and it went down a little TOO fast. yum.

Passed May of last year at age 94.

Pioneer in many ways and Mondavi now has selections in several tiers of the market, but Opus One, his reserve Cabernets and the oak-aged Fumé Blanc he introduced are his greatest wines.

But Goddess - why do millionaires need insurance? They afford to pay their own way.

I thought insurance was to help those who needed financial help.

The Reserves are my favorites, and affordable! I love the Merlot but it's a bit sweet for my taste, I usually go for the Cabernet Somethingsomething. Not going to attempt to spell that.

I met Mondavi...attended a tasting he hosted. Great guy and dedicated vintner. He was instrumental in getting the U.S. past being a jug wine industry.
