O'Reilly said. "Us, that's who. Our ratings are already soaring because we don't denigrate the protesters, the way a lot of other TV news organizations do. They're dying. We're on fire."

**************************************************************************

Of course they don't they are the arm of the Republican and would like their viewers to believe everything anti-President Obama.

I don't suppose Fox is gonna to give an adequate description of why and how many sponsers have pulled out of the Glenn Beck show.
Or better yet does Fox tell the truth about the mentality of those who believe everything Fox (Faux) News.

Fox (Faux) News Un-Fair and Unbalanced.

I don't know which part should be kept quiet, but keeping anything quiet about Fox News is impossible because so many people watch...in fact, twice as many people watch Fox News as watch all the other cable news programs combined.

They must be doing something correctly. And they must be scaring the libs/progressives horribly to be mentioned by the president so often. I remember he snubbed Fox News when he was a candidate.

Actually, many people who watch Faux News have very high intellects. They depend on it for to proselytize their smear tactics, lies, deceit, and mob gathering, whoops, I mean Nazis sympathizers. You have very cunning, financial scammers: the Enrons (full of scam neurons), Halibut ions, Insurance, and healthcare lobbyists as well as Oil Barons, too name a few. Few is the operative word there. Dick Armey is the architect of angry people who were told to disrupt without giving them opportunity to learn or listen to both sides. the old people who say I don't want socializes medicine; and I repeat as the Yet Dick Armey denied any such maneuvering (a lie) on Meet the Press yesterday morning.
Don't forget disgraced Rick Scott who scammed the Hospital Industry of millions and is continuing to do so with marked by violence and absurdity e.g. birthers, deathers. And then there is Sarah Palin who was flat out lying about death panels. She too endorsed the end of life counseling as Chuck Grassely (now being referred to as Chuck snake in the Grass-ely) did in 2003 (Source): http://swampland.blogs.time.com/2009/08/13/oh-those-death-panels/. She now claims it is a death panel. But, her Healthcare Decisions Day proves she is a huge liar and not really as smart as the other scammers.

Why don't you visit some of their websites...?

******************************************************************************************

Well, Andy
I'm way ahead of you. I already know the final bill will have a public option. The doctors, the insurance companies, the wealthy, the Bush administration caused this catastrophic debacle. More people than the media claims know this too.

Cite your polls all you want. Some birther's and other people polled didn't even know Hawaii was a part of the USA. How's that for blame; when it is this operatives deliberately concealing lies and themselves in the layers of uninformed people and inadequately informing them with scare tactics? As a nurse, I have seen the cost of a cycle of spiraling bills attributed to the hospitals. Without insurance, people come through the revolving doors of ER; thus spiraling the cost of healthcare; which is passed on to others. That is something you could asses as wasteful spending and a drain on the economy. You already know the 62% of bankruptcies are due to medical bills.
Why don't the operatives of this debacle since Reagan dismiss with the violence, guns, and lies?

Bet on President Obama heads or tails he will come out on top; since the public option is his and the majority of America’s passion.

I hope those who claim not to trigger unpleasant threads will remember...mentioning Fox or NBC is guaranteed to inspire the comments that follow.

If you follow the supposed logic, it only makes sense that Fxx
would have better numbers:

1. Based on the last three elections, America is pretty much split
down the middle .

2. Mainstream media -- CNN, NBC, CBS, blah blah blah -- are liberal.

3. Fox is the "only" voice of conservatives.

Ergo, 50 percent of America watches Fox while the other 50 percent
have a variety of media to choose from for actual news.
(Couldn't resist at least one dig.)

And one other conclusion: Equating popularity, accuracy, etc. with
ratings is illogical.

Said before rarely to never listen to talk radio. Anyone who READS the article will see that when it comes to ratings which equates to bucks-Fox is a winner hands down-liberal spin it however you choose. The Independent voters are the ones that swung the vote and according to the article they as well as Dems who are no longer charmed by Obamania are tuned to Fox. People are not spending, stock market tanking, more than half the US sees the stimulus as not working, and the public option on health care is going nowhere-spin it however you choose Foogs, told you more tan once like Smoke noted my "irony detector" broken so you pretty much need to calll me one of the labels that I nhave acquired because I disagree wiith the mess to get the full force of the dig alas then some editor-one can only "guess" -RIGHT which players they are- will say you have gotten too personal so eventually the entire thread can be deleted

That fantastic machine costs big money, but it not only offers better service, it also enables a dentist to serve more patients.

You can keep blaming all the people you want, Beverly, but the American people don't care about that. They tune out such talk. They want somebody who can make things better, and at that task Obama is failing so far.

FYI the public option is dead. The WH is retreating after creating lots of bad karma.

http://thinkprogress.org/2009/08/17/poll-fox-news-trust/

Poll: Few people trust Fox News other than whites, southerners, and Republicans.

Daily Kos/Research 2000 has released a new poll of Americans on which of the three major cable news channels they watch and trust. Kos points out that the poll finds “Republicans watch Fox News and nothing else, Democrats split between MSNBC and CNN, and Independents watch nothing.” The Washington Independent’s Dave Weigel notes that “non-white viewers really don’t like Fox”:

The biggest swing region in the poll? The South. In Southern states, 46 percent of viewers say that Fox News is “extremely reliable” or “reliable.” Only 6 percent of them say that of MSNBC, compared to 26 percent who say it of CNN, a huge shift from the days when CNN was derided as the “Communist/Clinton News Network.” And non-white viewers really don’t like Fox. Only 5 percent of African-Americans, 11 percent of Hispanics, and 8 percent of other minorities consider the network reliable, while a majority of every one of those groups trusts CNN and sizable pluralities trust MSNBC.

My grandson voted for President Obama in his kindergarten class. It was strange, to me, none of the kids voted for the President. But, Chicago is his hometown. I have tee shirts, buttons, hats, and the "yes we did" poster on my door now. Am I in the tank for Obama? You betcha. Is NBC in the tank? I don't know.

However, I see no difference in the President's paraphernalia than that of past Presidents. Did it ever occur the paraphernalia could be overstock?

I watch both FNC MSNBC, regular broad cast news and read the local papers. If FNC is so fabulous, then why have 20 sponsors dropped from Glenn Beck. I just read another bot-generated link which brings another lost sponsorship into FoX's (Faux) news commentator, Glenn Beck's ascending number or show I say descending. I do agree all news networks want to gain the big $$$. However, If Fox doesn't put a muffle on Glenn Beck's acidic mouth they may have to concede to telling the truth for a change.

FYI: you might want to peruse just how many topics are filled with Fox News link each day, all day; since you seem to be fairly a newbie.

They will never muzzle him, and you're making up stats on his sponsors - and inadvertently leaving out the sponsors who have picked him up to replace those that left?

I'm sure it was just an error on your part.

The show is hugely popular enough and Fox has the ratings to carry Beck even without sponsors.

You need to check you stats on Glenn Beck. Already, 20 companies have agreed to pull advertisements from Glenn Beck's television show, within weeks of the Fox host.

Now, Farmers Insurance can be added to that list, a Farmers spokesperson confirms to POLITICO.

Therein lies the problem.

Liberals call their own hate "truth."

But the REAL truth they call "hate."

That's an impossible wall to break through - except when enough people have found out that their hopes were stomped on and they show their disgust at the ballot box.

The people will speak. They won't be conned again.

Yes, and then Senator Barrack Obama sharply criticized the person who said that although not sure of the exact wording-just saying. In the Civil War both sides prayed before battle. Radicals both right or left often say that God directed them There is a quote about rendering unto Caesar .. someone who knows it might cite it as believe it applicable to Obama's vision on health care.

I see nothing wrong with any country praying to come together for their strength and goals. Also, you know there are so many chain e-mails going on it may not even be true that he said that.

The you tube clip was a Freudian clip defending the assaults of him being an Undercover Muslim propagated by Fox News particularly his arch enemy, Sean Hannity . I'm sure he probably had heard it so much and was so hurt about those vile lies of being a terrorist; probably, it was in his sub-conscience.

Since he was invited by the Rabbis, whose to say he won't reach out to Muslims? I agree he should otherwise they will feel slighted.

In the same vein, the new poll finds favorable ratings of the Democratic Party have declined sharply since spring. Just 49% now say they have a favorable view of the Democratic Party. This compares with a 59% favorable rating for the party as recently as April and 62% shortly before Obama took office in January. Opinion of the Republican Party, which stands at 40%, has not changed all year.

The more the crap out there is explained the more it stinks. In one town hall he said people were saying,,"l don't want government in their health care" but condescendingly explained that government already is in medicare which works just fine. In a town hall the very next day he said that he hoped people were aware that Medicare would be in the 'RED" within 8 years. Which is it -works fine-or in bad trouble? Might help if he had a plan. Probably best that he is going on vacation and quits trying to explain something he cannot

"The more the crap out there is explained the more it stinks."

Right on, Linda

Things we now know to be true

1. The objective is NOT insuring the uninsured. It is clearly a federal takeover of health care.

2. Indirectly there are death panels because they want to enact big cuts in medical care for the elderly. Rationing and long waiting lines will ensue.

3. You won't really be able to keep your present insurance for very long because the feds will have all kinds of tools to push your into the federal option.

4. Abortion will be covered somehow. Do you think the Democrats would pass comprehensive health care reform without including their favorite medical procedure?
