Wow, that first one hurt! Where were the choreographers, let alone anyone with good taste? The second one redeemed it all, thanks.
I loved the 70's also.

That was ... endless.

If that was the 70s I'm glad I can't remember them.

No - the 70s were like that. But the 60s were EXACTLY like that. At least on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In.

Looked like the sixties. Want the 70's show a clip of Saturday Night Fever and the Midnight Special.

The first one was like a Weird Al version of the real 70s. The keyboard player even looked like Weird Al.

Thanks for both versions. Can we move the girls to the second version, then junk the first?

The Shadows had the first hit with "Apache" in the UK, but the version I remember best is The Ventures from 1962. As far as I know, it's the only hit version that has the Thweep thweep thweep sound effects for arrow flight.

We don't want to talk about the 40s and 50s. We want to talk about the 20s, or at least when WE were.
I do remember having milk, cottage cheese, and other dairy products delivered to our door daily (the milkman put them in a metal box) when I was <5 yrs old..
Maybe you should start a thread about that time?

In 40s Wales I remember our milk also came to the door - the milkman poured it from his jug into our jug!

I remember milk coming to the door too...straight from the cow into a bucket, strained, then put in a pitcher and into the fridge...

"Milk the Badger?" Can you say that in public? Sounds like it should be entered in Monkeynips Silly Swears thread.

Oh, Badger Milk!
