4 excellent puns; one that made no sense to me -- but I'll wait till 8PM to find out more.
Good try -- not easy to find new and original puns.

Very sly, Slicko.

Enjoyed the last four after I spent 11 of 32 moves working out the first and by far hardest one.

FYI, Lodi, haste makes waste.

Loved it. Could have been in first place right now but the boss kept walking by and I'd have to minimize my screen. I guess WP doesn't stand for workplace.

FUN puzzle.

The first one cost me 2 "pink screens" and a slap on the head..............after that I really enjoyed the other four!

Thanks Slicko.

Loved it! Great WP, Gary! My favorite clue/phrase was this one:

Smelly pennies - does a fragrant dollar contain one hundred scents

After that, I had the urge to go sniff all of my one dollar bills, LOL.

All of them were very clever and great fun, thanks!

Thanks folks - sorry if I "blind"sided you Donna.
In case you didn't groan enough during the puzzle, here they all are:

Can you grab the baltic and mediterranean seize (catch bodies of water)
Is lake eerie the creepiest of the great lakes (scary inland US sea) - it's actually not creepy at all !!
Can you basque in the sun in france and spain (Pyrenees tanning)
Is an uninteresting wild pig a total boar (dull porker)
Does a fragrant dollar contain one hundred scents (smelly pennies)
Are valuable orange vegetables made of carats (Golden garden)
Did the goddess of agriculture play in the world ceres (Roman baseball games)
Will the wealthy bohemian write a blank czech (Prague philanthropy)
Was the evil marine rotten to the corps (wicked serviceman)
Does a bald rabbit have no hare (depilated coney)

Got another batch for sometime down the road

Seriously, Gary's phrase about the dollar bill reminded me that on occasion, I'll get a dollar in change that will be fragrant. Then I'll try to identify the scent (usually perfumy) and imagine what the person was like who had the dollar before me. Fragrant dollars are good for spurring the imagination to roam.

Thanks again, Gary!

Now I've realized what the problem with the seas/seize clue was.
Seize is an active verb but you are talkingabout grabbing them -- making it a passive action.
All the other puns don't have this disconnect.
Despite that some fine jokes here.
