Interesting set of clues --except for one list, which seemed totally out of place.
I'm not an expert in Scotland but I thought I was getting into the swing of things; but when you have four clues where logic and what passes for intellect can help you work out the theme and subsidiary words, to end up with a boring random list of words strung together in no particular order was disappointing and surprising.

Thanks for writing this WP! Lots of interesting stuff about a fascinating country. Ignore the grumpy guy in first place; he probably throws cards around if his partner doesn't read his mind, or if he fails to read his partner's. Just kidding, Barry. A bit.

It'sd true; you should (or should not) see me at the table.
Grumpy does not do the half of it; sorry to complain earlier...

Barry plays mostly with idiots ... only occasionally gets to play with a moron. This is the guy who baffled everyone on all of his recent hyper clues. I am from the Gunn Clan whose motto is "Peace or War." Right now, we are at peace. This puzzle was top drawer .. worth a Kayleigh.

Nice work, Diane. I've only been there once and I'm just a point behind you.

After two silly puzzles something you could sink your teeth into. Thank you LooseWheel. On your return you found even more interesting subjects from that hauntingly beautiful country.

Jim, did you mean a ceilidh?

I had forgotten how much the Scots share in common with their Celtic cousins down south ...

Great puzzle - even better than the first. I got the list one and thought it was pretty cool.

AAAGH...for a while I thought I was doing one of those Welsh WPs, using up all 26 letters to get one guy's name.

Did well up until the last one. Clue made no sense to actual sentence. Otherwise, very enjoyable. Hubbie wants to go there more than any place else.

I thought Burns' nickname was Rabbie, not Robbie. Otherwise a nice puzzle!

I think Robbie Burns played inside left for Hamilton Academicals in the 1956/7 season.

I got two lists and another one the first time.

Susy, Rabbie is correct (also?)

The first time? Did I miss another Scotland puzzle? Pleasantly surprised!

The Scots name their rivers like they're paying by the letter.

Thankyou for ALL of your comments. Barry, I hesitated to put the list of rivers in but thought the 'Judge' would either change it or say no to it. Anyway hope the overall puzzle was enjoyable as I am not much of an expert at them yet. Lucille
