TAX REBATES

Do you wish that once in a while, Congress would give youa tax rebate not to boost the economy, but because they love you?

Don't cry Jerm, I you. No rebates will be coming your way, however.

hahahaha

Never forget it was your money in the first place. I never give it to them on April 15 because I love them, either.

So they know how you feel.

In Michigan a few years ago, Governor Granholm wanted a 15% increase in license plate fees. She only got 10%. Later she stated that this was a 5% "gift" to the citizens. Does this count? I cannot recall any mention of love here but I'm sure it would have been mentioned if she had been intelligent enough to think of it.

Some folks are getting government checks-the creepy part is someone is saying some of these guys deserved them-dunno-thought mail coming into jails were examined by someone. Didn't anyone think this odd? -rather give you the money, Jeremy! Some guy on Cavuto just said it was no big deal-simple clerical error. We really have slipped into the Dirkson mode-a billion here, a bilion there and pretty soon we are talking arout REAl money

Did you notice how angry Cavoto was? I personally think it was misplaced anger. He should be angry about the billions of tax dollars spent on a war. I think many tax payers really don't like paying 100 smackers for one hammer. As for you, Stoutyoungladd , you may get a mistaken check; you never know. Hang in there

Jeremy needs to go to prison to get one of these checks or might get one if he has been dead for a few years. BUSH is Gone quit beating that horse. You are quite free, howeverm, to discus the money being spent in Afghanistan as we don't hear much about that nor the lives lost

Sorry to say you are dead wrong. That horse has been revived now. The CIA investigation will bring on a very long tale for the Bush Administration.

I disagree that SYL needs to be jailed or dead. Even Cavuto says the government makes mistakes. SYL just may get a return on his tax dollars. Agree?

Should have read feek about these investigations not interrogations. Even a guy that was on the pane/commision that did much to tear apart the CIA after nixon said the times after 9/11 were a whole different ballgame

That majority is only the people who did vote for the President.

It's old news, Beverly.

From February. A majority of Americans didn't want the terrorists let out of Guantanamo, the interrogation techniques reopened . . . They wanted to close that book and move on.

Sorry you missed it.

Linda don't speak for all Americans I would like to see it looked into. I has to do with America and if our government is responsible for injustice and torture. No I don't think it should be swept under the rug like everything else Bush did.

And then there is this saying we have stepped back on dangerous ground http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/08/27/critics-question-shift-interrogations-away-cia/ Know many dismiss Rasmussen but his most recent poll says 53% of Americans don't want to go there-as I count that is more than half or in other words the majority.-so I m not speaking for everyone-please cite your source

Linda - it's all smoke and mirrors. Anything to take attention away from the quickly falling support for socialist health care. It's just their modus operandi and the progressive playbook - if your support keeps dropping in the polls, quick, find something to blame Republicans for.

The Heritage Foundation (Conservative grant you) just came out withh the amount it will cost small business if there is employer mandate-staggering. Either there will be fewer workers who make less or price will be passed on to the consumer. Probalby wwe are going to go back to the "moral imperative" push- what "Teddy believed"-but folks must understand that moral imperative or not it has consequences. No matter how Obama crunches the numbers, they don't work
