Don't want to whine, but I feel one of the puzzles should've had a foreign spelling alert with one of the clues.

If you're thinking of the word I'm thinking of, I believe that's the commonly used spelling, even in English.

Then again, I could be mistaken

A nice puzzle!

I agree- one should have had a warning about a really weird spelling. Not fair.

Otherwise....excellent and fun. Thanks.

thanks for the heads up on spelling. Looked odd to me too. Nice puzzle; wide general knowledge required.

I don't think so, Tim.

That is the preferred English spelling too.

That was great -- wish I could have seen all 10 questions -- but please don't tell me one was about actor Mark Valley

My fave was Silicon Valley, I learned a whole lot!

Out of curiosity, is the word everyone was chatting about "chateaux" or did some other word cause confusion?

I thought this WP was very well-written. I learned a lot while playing and also found it had just the right amount of challenge.

I had the phrase with "chateaux," and if that's the word some people are complaining about, please take a look in your dictionaries. It's in my English dictionaries as the plural of the word "chateau."

Anyway, thanks for a lot of fun!

I enjoyed this puzzle. Some great trivia was incorporated.
But I did get one "Sorry" because I didn't now the plural of chateau.

X marks the spot.
Kudos to the author for writing it.

I thought the plural was "babbleau".
