I put in a support ticket yesterday, and they said they were aware of it.

I'm sure the E's think we are just whining, but it is nice to know that others are having problems and its not just your computer or connection.

Plus, if enough people start bitching, that usually brings Justin out of hiding.

I agree with everything above. but my internet is slow in everything right now. Martina and I are the comics fans, and some comics won't come up at all, while on another site, the latest I can get of some cartoons is last Friday, the 4th. That's the best thing about a short memory span. Some of them are funny all over again each time.

If anyone would be interested in a website similar to Sploofus but a lot faster you may email me at F5laur@aol.com. I would never put the site on here as out of respect to Justin. This other site also have a daily trivia question of the day. I just thought I would let you all know, in the event that Sploofus goes off for a while while Justin is repairing the site. Laurie

I'm beginning to think this is another weekend when the internet is under attack.

Also possible as a holiday weekend maybe Justin took some R and R. It happened before when he went on vacation. Too bad some people won't get a chance to post.

why would 'some people not get a chance to post"? I'm not very familiar with chat forums. Just wondering. Laurie

Slow here too- the pages are hanging when signing in or clicking on links here. I'd say it's been like this for about 5 days or so.

It's more than slow -- I'm not going to accept the trivia challenge until this is fixed.

Yeah, I just accepted a showdown challenge, waited about 30 seconds before the question showed up, got a very easy queston right in less than 5 seconds, waited another 15 seconds, and then was told I exceed the time limit. My opponent got the points. I guess the best advice is to avoid any challenges, Questions of the Day, etc. until Justin notices and fixes it.

The reason I gave my email address out for other fun websites is just incase Sploofus does indeed, crash. I just thought that others may be like me, not being able to work. It stinks not being able to work anymore, but these websites help break up the boredom. Sploofus is my favorite though. Hopefully, it won't crash before Justin gets to fixing it. I'm surprised that there is no one else that can fix a problem with a business this big, with many paying members. I would have thought that Justin would have other people, other than just himself at "Support@Sploofus". Oh well, it just goes to show how little I know about web site designing. Silly me

My apologies for typing "fix the problem" I will rephrase. "Address a situation that is unsatisfactory to customers". This is a web site, but also a business, as some prefer to pay for extra features. Those features are unsatisfactory at this time. It becomes a business when payment is accepted.
Again, my apologies for offending you. Sorry your space bar also requires addressing.
