Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you ever use the "Search Trivia Quiz" bar? What's the benefit as opposed to going to the "Trivia Quizzes" link on the top? Also, an example of something you all may type in it. Thanks, Marilyn

I have used it when i want to see if there are quizes on a topic that no longer appear on the first page. I'll type in the name of a show..or book, that kinda thing!

Sometimes quizzes are posted under categories that you would not think to look in. Using the search lists the quizzes containing the search word from all categories.

I used search for quizzes on "Harry Potter". Some are in movies or literature or plain fill-in-the-blank.

My goal was to take every Harry Potter quiz.

After a few days and a gazillion quizzes later, I gave up!

And I sometimes use it if I am thinking of writing a quiz on a particular topic. I don't want to duplicate what is already out there.

Some days I am online while watching an old movie on TV...then I will type in the name of the movie and all the quizzes already written on that topic will come up. If there aren't any (!) I will write one as I watch This is exactly how I created my quiz on 'Father Goose'.

I also periodically type in 'Shakespeare' just to be sure I haven't missed any. The search engine finds the terms you've typed-in in titles AND descriptions!

It's a great way to find those older quizzes - but watch out for those pre-editor-days quizzes! Some are truly atrocious!!!
