GRRYBL'S IN(A)RTICULATE WP

No complaints about this one! Very clever and lots of fun!

Wish I could share the scratchpad that I use for WPs--really very, very strange tonight.

Barry = Love you....didn't like this WP. To complicated for my dumb litter southern mind. Did pretty well considering we didn't get it..

Please put up an explaination when it is done. Thanks

Doggone it! Wish I would have gotten the last one first and I would have tumbled on to the secret of the puzzle a lot quicker. It's one of those that when you figure it out, you whack yourself in the middle of the forehead for being so thick-headed.

Beth, you're from Wisconsin, and hubbies a Canadian. True though, there have been some strange posts from southerners lately.

I wanted to like this one, but it was little *too* clever for my taste. There was also a wide variablility in the difficulty of the phrases -- even after I figured out the theme, I had one screen that cost me 21 letters, and another that I got with no letters at all.

What she said about the variability.

Didn't get it either, and too tired to think about it.

I had an idea what might be the key, but one puzzle was my nemesis. Barry's puzzles are real challenges, but they are cleverly concocted.

Didn't get it. Totally blew it. I shall blame it on being tired.

Barry, no psychic powers here--just a similarly twisted mind, particularly when it comes to word play--combined with some luck regarding which puzzles I got. Too bad the similarly twisted Slicko is on hiatus--I bet he would have done even better than I did.

AHA....
I've finally found the secret of doing well on Sploofus.
You have to have a twisted mind....
Please share how your minds got so twisted.

Another tough one (for me anyway), but then I expect that from Barry! I was pretty sure I knew what it would be about and still struggled - lost 900 points on the first one! Still can't work out 2 of them even though I know exactly what I'm looking for! No doubt I'll be kicking myself as usual!

Really nice work. I love the wordplay puzzles for their "aha!" moments.

These are as hard as those ridiculously difficult Brit crossword puzzles. Wait a minute, you probably think that's a compliment!
