Source NYT:"All of the insurance plans in the exchange would have to meet strict new government requirements. Insurance companies could not bar coverage based on pre-existing medical conditions, and could only increase the cost of premiums based on a small number of factors, like age, tobacco use and whether a plan is for an individual or a family."

Where does Bipartisan and good health come in for the average American when there is no Public Option.?
We have to wait for it to get on the floor. Filibuster or Reconciliation?

The unions are not going to like the Baucus plan even a little bit. Don't have all the details but it imposes tax on htheir health care. Probably not sure but won't be very kind to seniors either. Beverlyu, the people have made it very very clear they do NOT wan the public option or anything thatr wil get this camel's nose unde the tent.

I'm not sure either Linda. The only thing I can agree on is no pre-existing conditions. I 'll have to reread it to make sure I understand it all; but without Public Option many Americans will not accept it .
