National Grandparents Day is a secular holiday celebrated in the United States and Canada on the first Sunday after Labor Day and is celebrated in the United Kingdom on the first Sunday in October. It took place this year on September 13. ( in Canada and the United States.)
The reason I mention this, my granddaughter Mackenzie, has invited me to lunch at her school today. They are celebrating it all week.....which is as it should be......we need to be celebrated every day. Mack is very excited...she is in the 2nd grade and I am excited too.
Happy Grandparents WEEK to all of you Sploofus grandparents too. I think grandchildren are the reason you had children in the first place.....they are so much more fun than their parents were! LOL

Happy Grandparents' Week to you too, Marsha! How many grands do you have? I'm blessed with a grandson, Logan. he is 2 1/2 years old.. I am also blessed with a granddaughter, Isabelle Alivia. She is 3 weeks old.
You are so right about the grands being more fun than our own. LOL
Have a wonderful week.
