PATRICK, MARY, AND NOW HENRY GIBSON COMPLETES THE THREE.

Folk legend says that bad news comes in threes. In the past couple of days, we've lost Patrick Swayze, Mary Travers, and today, Henry Gibson, the poet and sometimes vengeful Nazi portrayer of Laugh-In.

They helped us dance, sing, and laugh.

Jim Carroll died, too. He helped us....well, whatever punk rockers do.

It is sad, makes you realize what a blessing life is and to enjoy it and smell the flowers along the way. Makes one mindful of ones own mortality.

The problem with radio: When I heard that Henry Gibson had died, I said to my self, I had no idea that Norwegian playwright had still been alive.

I saw Peter, Paul and (not) Mary a few months ago and they came out and announced she officially retired and this would be their first show as Peter and Paul, or whatever.

It was pretty good, not my cup of tea. but soon-to-be-ex-wife Satan liked it.
