WORD PUZZLE "CHEATERS"

I find it hard to believe that people can average 3800 points a puzzle without cheating.

You know, rather than coming on the Chat and making implications that you can't back up, you could message me privately or---if you really believe I'm cheating---ask Sploofus to investigate. Posting backhanded insults here won't do anything except make you look like a petulant child.

C'mon now!

Perhaps Sinope (and the other leaders) is/are simply very good at word puzzles, leave the boy alone!

This is supposed to be a friendly, fun site. The bickering is beginning to detract from my enjoyment of Sploofus.

Are the leaders of the other sections (wordrounds, trivia quizzes, authors, jackpot leaderboards....) who are quite a distance in front going to be accused too?

Sinope has a good point in his post, if someone has a problem/suspicion they should message him privately and notify Sploofus of their concerns, there's no need to post this on a public chat forum.

Even if these accusations are true,
what happened to innocent until proven guilty?

Just my tuppence (or 2 cents!) worth.

Some people have won Wordpuzzles in ten turns! With five puzzles usually with more than one word per puzzle, thats two trys per puzzle. That's Crazy! If people can do that maybe they should be super heros or something. It may be possible. It definatly would be a talent.

I have found, in life that if it walks like a duck and it sounds like a duck, it is usually a duck.

Hey Surreyman...yeah, Anything, as long as it is fun. Well, Sploofus started out as being fun. I thought the whole Team idea was great. But now it seems that the same people are "winning" all the time. I will not be renewing my gold membership.....

I don't want to point fingers at anyone but I have to say that I do find it very difficult to believe that people can solve five word puzzles in just 11 or 12 moves.

Isn't single person trivia like golf? Play to compete with yourself. Better yourself and don't worry about what others are doing. Shouldn't there be a personal satisfaction in knowing you did a good job for yourself as opposed to trying to outwit and outsmart others. If thats the case, than go on survivor. I personally know a few of the top guns in real life such as Machiabelly and LCM30 or is it 29 again or whatever and I know they are extremely successful in trivia on here and at trivia nights at the bars...legitimately.

Grey, I completely agree. It used to be fun...but when people have to cheat their way to monthly prizes, it takes away the fun aspect. And you can't tell me that they are 30000 points ahead by luck either.!
