The time of year when we see the great color changes and even better,,,those creaky old timers (yeah, I know) that clog up our streets and highways, and grocery lines, and doctors waiting rooms, etc. are all heading south to their little trailers and condos and their 1PM happy hours.
Then again, they may be about all the people left in the state. I guess we will find out.

Onward and upward---(downward?)

October in Tennessee is beautiful too...espically around here where I live with the mountains and everything...Never been to Michigan in the fall but hubby says it's really pretty as he was born there...Been there during the winter though and you all can have it! ROFL!

Other than hurricane season Florida weather doesn't change much. However, driving in late January here is preferable to thigh-high snow in Michigan for this old codger-lots of us here all yer long. Hateful in mid August-sigh

I'm going to Miami in January and just curious on the weather. I've had different reports from different websites. Anything is better than 3-4 feet of snow though, which is what we've had for the last 3 years. HATE IT!

WAIT!!! Happy Hour in Florida is at 1:00 pm? Has it always been 1:00 pm? Why am I waiting until 5:00 pm? Why was I not notified???

Because you have to be an 'old codger" to drink at 1 pm

We went to Orlando in January '08, and the temp was in the high 70's and low 80's every day. We would call home each day to hear about the icy roads and snow.

New country song with a Latino beat... "It's One O'Clock Somewhere."
