KAUFMAN WINS TQOTD

With all day to go, Ken is safely in the lead for the September victory. A great score. Well done.

He is just too darn fast - we got the same number right but he cleaned my clock in the speed department. Awesome job Ken - congrats!

Yeah, September has been a very impressive TQOTD month for Ken. A few of us stayed close for awhile, but Ken never missed, and just kept stretching his lead with incredibly fast times. In fact, I only missed once all month (and I'm saving one now), so his huge lead is based on that quick brain of his.

You know saving doesn't work, right?
It counts to last months total.

Hope that doesn't spoil your day....

I vote to save - if I get a Vocab or Music question unless I'm at level .1 or .2 that baby is saved for wager time. I've been inundated with Potpourri, World Events and Physical Science lately.

Ken, you're so smart, you're scary!!!

I have just achieved a new level, so I am about to address those two stashed Vocabulary questions with a billion-point wager apiece

Barry,

Slicko figured it out. I'm saving my best category (Movies and Television) for my next wager token. Hopefully, the question won't expire before I can reach the next level!

Thanks, everyone. I've been close before (even #2) but really never thought I'd win one. Magical month. Most questions were in the categories I do better at, for the book question I had no idea about I just stabbed a guess and it hit.

Missed one question, a classical music one that Gary could have answered in his sleep, where I guessed "the obvious".

As for saving questions, I'm too impatient. I want to answer them now. Plus, if you're good enough to be contending for the monthly title, there have to be a lot of categories you're outstanding in. I've been known to wager on 6 of the 9 categories; if I don't feel good about today's question, I'll probably just go after tomorrow's

It's now October. I started the month shanking a wager into the water. It's someone else's turn; my 15 minutes are through. Have fun!

I saw that movie. Is he the guy with the big claws or the woman with the blue skin?
