It was a great puzzle, with room for sequels. I was given five classics. Unfortunately, I only could readily identify four.

Yes, lets have a sequel.
Great puzzle Sploofiz, enjoyed it.
The 'spelling' that you warned us about nearly got me, had to sit and think about it!

Wow - a request for a sequel! How can I refuse I'll get on that right away! Here are the puzzles from the first installment:

bryan bowers had a hit with the scotsman ("folklore")
weird al yankovics eat it ("spoof")
hello mudduh hello fadduh by allan sherman ("watch for spelling variations")
frank gallop sang the ballad of irving ("folklore")
king tut by steve martin and the toot uncommons ("history")
der fuehrers face by spike jones and his city slickers ("politics")
barnes and barnes sang fish heads ("friendship or dinner?")
frank zappas hit dont eat the yellow snow ("good advice")
dr demento himself recorded shaving cream ("a classic")
theyre coming to take me away ha haaa by napoleon xiv ("a classic")

I found "Hello Mudduh, Hello Fadduh" as muddah/fadduh, mudder/fadder, and several other variations! I didn't want to take the heat for choosing the one that YOU GUYS didn't like!

Thanks for the nice notes - glad you had fun!

I had never heard of Dr demento butmy 20 year old son has been into Weird Al and similar for years so I didn't find the puzzle too hard.
Since taking the WP's I have done some research and found the official website and it had a free Weird Al download - so i sent the link to my son I was really smiling when I got an email from him saying 'Wow, mum you are totally ace for finding that'
So thanks to having some fun on Sploofus my ranking wqith my son has just shot up lol
