Not sure if this was ever brought up before. I just won a showdown, and my challenger was from Australia. The question was a sports question about the US; I won the challenge, but I feel sort of bad because I feel I had an unfair advantage. When it comes to showdowns, shouldn't the questions be......nationally neutral? Just a thought.

Couldn't agree more.
I've been mentioning this for ages (from the UK).
And I've also asked for quiz descriptions to show if there's any national (or whatever) bias too, so that quiztakers do not then open the quiz if they so decide.

I had a cricket question recently... so I think it's starting to even out.

I have noticed more quizzes with titles about "USA Television" or "UK Top 100" so maybe the editors are getting more strict about the geographical bias. I think that's really helpful for everyone.

And who can forget the recent Wales/Welsh puzzles? Definitely no bias there! LOL

Well you were warned about 'em (or was the warning in Welsh too?).

I guess....I fired that note right after I won due to my natural inclination towards being guilt-riddled, LOL...I forgot about the Welsh stuff, etc... I still think it's a bit USA-biased (I shouldn't complain--works to my advantage), but maybe that's because I haven't been privy to cricket questions. Thanks for the input.
