Great one. Love this series. Gary, how one earth did you get that score! Hubby made a really bad joke about Gary's age until he "got it" that Gary is younger than I am....

Keep these up...there are lots of years left.

I always enjoy these year puzzles - some lucky letter picks and did go out on a limb on a couple and it paid off.

I really enjoy these "Year" WPs, and I thought I really had this one nailed. But, then, there's always Slicko!

I was born that year. Enjoyed the memories but "coulda" played better.

Missed second because of a XXXX typo.
One stat really surprised me in the answers; you live and learn.....

I'd have done better, but I never knew how many different things with three letters and an O in the middle could be trapped in a silo. Boy? Dog? Cow? Hog? Mom?

Same here, Ken. I thought it was boy (pink screen), then dog (another pink screen) then by process-of-elimination-of-letters-remaining, guessed Cow (ding ding ding).

The stat that surprised me was only 2 volkswagens selling in the year in US. Maybe anti-German feeling?

Here's a link to the cow story -
The end of the article kind of reminds me of Wilbur plot line in Charlotte's Web. I wonder if it might have been an inspiration for E.B. White.
