I am so glad that you are making a huge effort to be around here more on the forums to interact personally with us.
Have a wonderful weekend!

No it's not the meds yet. I just want to make sure that on Monday when I accept the meds for my bone marrow harvest that I'm not seeing things that aren't there. Think this is a good way. LOL

Hey Laura....

Good Luck on Monday, I'll be thinking about you.

Your diagnosis sounds very much like mine but
you are almost 20 years younger, so you should
do very well.

I had heard they have started to use the patients own
stem cells....and cleaning them up before re-insertion.
That seems to be the best solution, and cuts down on
the possibility of rejection. Also reduces the need for
those most dangerous anti-rejection drugs.

I wonder if you can PM me later, when you are feeling
strong enough. In the meantime we will be praying for
your health and comfort.

Lots of Love from Rowlanda

Thank you, Rowanda for the prayers and well wishes for Monday. I'm so very sorry that you have this also. What I am having is called an autologous transplant. I'm surprised your oncologist didn't test your marrow to see if you can do the same. I'll pm you. This thread is intended to let Justin know that we miss him.

Thank you both, Steph and Polly!
If I ask for a 6 pack they will have to put it in an IV. I hate the taste of any kind of alcohol! LOL
I sure wish my good old Advil would do the trick!

Sorry Laurie, didn't mean to hijack the thread....
Justin knows how much I admire him and
LOVE Sploofus....

BTW, I have AML Leukemia, but both of our
ailments are the result of Blood anomalies.
