A THOUGHT ON WORDROUNDS

This is just a thought and I just wanted to see if anyone else thought this would be a good idea. Would you find that WordRounds would be easier if Sploofus could find some way to put all the words and definitions onto one screen?
That way all you'd have to do is click on what you thought was the correct answer instead of having to scroll down with each new word.
It's just a thought.

I didn't mean to post this twice. Any ideas how I can delete the first message?

Great idea Vickie! However some of us elderly folk might not be able to read such small print. Even if it were on 2 pages, I know my error frequency would be cut in half. To score well with dialup is a miracle at best and any help would be good. Thusly we might see 8 second times out of some of the Word Round superstars.

Who's elderly? The print wouldn't have to be that small! LOL.....

maybe you could get one of those magnifiers for the screen, Felix. Did you know you can go to "view"and enlarge the print on your screen?

I think having to scroll down just adds to the challenge. I do see your point, though.

I think it's plenty competituve already...
When 22 seconds gets you only 4th place! :D

Wow

I have the click-scroll, click-scroll motion down pretty good (but apparently others have it down even better!)

Tracy, it's worth it to trial different mice. (mouses?) When I went to my daughter's and did a few rounds from there, my time was greatly improved. So I came home and picked up a GE mouse and installed it. I don't know that I saw that much difference but it was smoother. When she came down, she loved it and thought it was better than hers; and she's much faster than me. This one is getting a little sticky though and I think it might be time to try a new one.

I have Webtv instead of a computer, and I am not the only person with Webtv that uses this website. We do not have the ability to click on the right answer because Webtv does not use a mouse. Scrolling is our only option.

Felix (the cat) doesn't know what a mouse is?

I'm not elderly-just blind as a bat. Good idea, Vickie.

Really enjoy wordrounds more now that they give the correct answer. Used to get so frustrated when I ended up with just a percentage with no idea of which question(S) I answered incorrectly. Linda

Hey Vickie--hope all is well. I like your idea, but then again those of us who are lefties working with a righty mouse would love anyway to avoid having to scroll as well as click.
