I'M PREGNANT.

Okay, not me, my lady. Champagne (or fruit juice for some) is on me.

I hope it's a boy this time, but I'll be happy either way.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqYUns2YQik

BTW, if you know any songs about being a parent, other than the one above (or Just the Two of Us by Will Smith), so I can celebrate, I'd appreciate it!!! Thanx.

Thanks Susanne! I feel like celebrating like they do in the scene in Fiddler on the Roof where they sing Lechaim!

In case you don't know: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vvr8AjT0aD0

I know, I'm a dork.

Mmmm...., not a biological child that I know of, lol, but my lady has a daughter that calls me dad. I'd like to adopt her if I could ever get the dork to sign over his rights. As far as I'm concerned, she's my kid and no one is going to tell me differently.

Congratulations on the impending birth of your second child! The video of Lechaim from Fiddle on the Roof was an excellent choice for expressing your joy....loved it! You asked for other songs about being a parent and one came to mind immediately.

"Butterfly Kisses"; sung by Bob Carlisle, is quite relevent for daddies of little girls. ~
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaZl1RrTnco

Bob Carlisle also sings "Father's Love". This particular video lends itself to being the daddy of a son. ~

Joy and happiness to you and yours!

One of Stevie Wonder's songs has a phrase in there that would just gas me when I was pregnant. It's been a long time sorry I can't remember the title.
It says "Until the day I am you and you are me". Well, I was the one who was both or was I? Any how Congratulations

Wayne Watson "Somewhere In The World"

I couldn't find Wayne singing it, but here's an idea how it goes:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2p9GroIH-Cs

Lyrics are very sweet:

Somewhere in the world today
A little girl will go out to play
All dressed up in mama's clothes
At least the way that I suppose it goes

Somewhere in the world tonight
Before she reaches to turn out the light
She'll be prayin' from a tender heart
A simple prayer that's a work of art

And I don't even know her name
But I'm prayin' for her just the same
That the Lord will write His name upon her heart

'Cause somewhere in the course of this life
A little boy will need a godly wife
So hold on to Jesus, baby wherever you are

Somewhere in the world out there
That little girl's learnin' how to care
She's pickin' up her mama's charms
Or maybe swingin' around in her daddy's arms

Somewhere in the world to be
Though the future's not really clear to me
Theirs could be a tender love
Grounded in eternal love above

And I don't even know her name
But I'm prayin' for her just the same
That the Lord will write His name upon her heart

'Cause somewhere in the course of this life
My little boy will need a godly wife
Oh, so hold on to Jesus, baby wherever you are
Oh, hold on to Jesus, baby wherever you are

We are seven weeks along, and I plan to post ultrasound pictures on this thread when I can, maybe tomorrow. No word on the sex yet.

You might want to keep pix of the ultrasounds, as my originals that the doctors gave me of my lovely daughter have faded into nothingness now...just gray globs of nothingness. Dangit! Even though she looked much akin to ET, they were still treasures nonetheless.
