boy some tough ones for non US ones (though I DID spot one English teaser in there)

It felt like one or two categories contained 2 or 3 I'd never heard of.

Still -- fun; thanks.

Tough for non US ians ? You can say that again, grossly unfair in my opinion, hated it.

Definitely for candy lovers from the US.

I loved it - anything candy is golden (even if I hadn't heard of some of them). Doing my best not to open the bags of Halloween goodies yet...

I don't think it was any easier for folks from the US--at least for this particular puzzle taker. I was completely stumped on several of these. Even took a break for awhile because it was driving me nuts. Set another personal slowness record. I guess I'm just not a big candy fan! (I thought I was, but I guess I need to try more varieties!)

That said, I don't think it was particularly unfair. Others scored pretty well on this WP--probably because they just know more about candy. Heck, I had a nice score last week just because I happen to be a cartoon fanatic. Sometimes they're right down your alley; other times they roll down someone else's lane.

Feared the worst when I saw the title, and I was right. Knew 2 out of 15? (triples) the rest was greek to me.
At least I finished at No 8 on the vocab one

Really one of the toughest ever. Now we are going to take to aspirin and we are going to bed.

Enjoyed it all the way - esp the AlVandy ringer phrase. Great idea, well executed. Yes, a candy or two was a touch far-fetched, but as someone occasionally reminds me, this is a Trivia site.

Followed my nose and finished 13 minutes before my temporary finishing time which switches back on Sunday

A peppermint pattie to all who enjoyed that puzzle!
Okay- where's mine?
Off to the refrigerator.

You prepared that whole puzzle just to get another plug in for York!

That's real dedication, Al.

My dentist will attest I knew most of these. I'd have done better, however, if I'd known Godiva made "pearls" as well as "hearts."

I stocked up on candy yesterday and noticed that the Peppermint Patties have an orange filling (I think it's still mint, just an orange color) and are shaped like pumpkins for Halloween.
