Great job, Al. I was looking forward to taking this one, and all expectations were met or surpassed. I don't know how you know all this stuff - some I've certainly never heard.

(I was hoping for one specific tune, but it wasn't there - maybe in the other 5?)

Please post all after WP ends.

I suspect I got an easier than average set --but there were still one or two I had not heard of. Appreciate the work Al --and by the way how's the vision? (And you too Smoke --we haven't heard anything recently so I presume it is all good?)

Great puzzle Al really enjoyed it. Hope you have a great day and don't eat all the peppermint patties at once. Charlotte

Me too, please post! I now feel like I am in the mood to celebrate Halloween, thanks to the trip down memory lane. Al, I got Peppermint Patties just for you if you come to Trick or Treat, otherwise I'll just eat them myself

Great puzzle, Anne

One of the other colonial capitals, Williamsburg, VA. If you hop in the car right now, you might make it. I'll save some.

I loved this puzzle and I really thought there would be at least a couple of fives. I think part of it has to do with an age or generation thing, at least all but one of mine did. The other was closer to my children's teenage years so I knew it really well. Thanks Al this was much fun and the clues were absolutely right on.

This was terrific. I am suprised there were no 5's to date. We did really well!

Thanks to all who played the puzzle today.
I didn't get "booed" publicly , so that's nice.
