I would like to wish my dad a Happy 80th Birthday, who would have turned 80 today if he were still alive. He taught me so much about life. To do the right thing, to be responsible for yourself, and to always try and do your best and for this I give a heartfelt thanks.
But he taught me the most important lesson of cheer for the Dodgers and despise the Yanks. RIP diad, much love, Craig

That's a wonderful tribute to make today. And what is special- is that the lessons he taught you can continue for the rest of your life.

So-- please keep despising the Yankees and root for my Orioles [to come in ahead of the Yankees at least in the standings.]

Wow, my Dad woulda been 97 on the 27th of this month, if he was still alive. His older sister was 97 when she died. His older brother woulda been 100 last month. His younger brother woulda been 96 this year.
Their mother (my grandmother) was 91 when she died.

My maternal grandparents woulda been 100 each this year.

................AND my kids are getting old too. Not me!

I am still lucky enough to have a mother. Dad passed away in 1982, but Mum will be 100 in January, with luck.
