I just tried to submit a quiz. I give a word and the quiz taker must figure out how the word is backwards. My quiz was rejected. Do you, fellow Sploofusers think it is a legit quiz or not? I think it is challenging and thought provoking, maybe I'm wrong. I just want another opinion. I think it fits in with wordplay perfectly. I value your opinions. Doobie.

I think that this kind of quiz would really be pushing the envelope of what's considered trivia. Simply picking out a word spelled backwards requires almost no mental challenge whatsover, and seems to be simply a matter of who can find it faster than others, as almost everybody will get 100% (unless they miss one because they're going too fast).

I guess whether or not sploofus continues to accepts these kinds of quizzes any more (and it looks like they're not) depends on what they're using as a minimum standard for the definition of trivia.

A "spell the word backwards" quiz seems to have alot in common with a "pick the green vegetable" quiz. Maybe that's why....dunno.

While that is in deed a quiz, I would not think of it as trivia.

Well, in that are Word Puzzles considered trivia?

I'm not a quiz taker, I just joined as a gold player so I could do more WordRounds and WordPuzzles, but I've seen my share of numbers questions as the daily questions (and I suck at those) and I'm not really sure those would be considered "trivia" I'm not sure what everyone's (including Sploofus) definition of "trivia" is.

I think the editors are being strict on this stuff because if they let one in, they have to let them all in and I'm pretty sure all puzzles like this have been eliminated. I can remember as I'm sure many others can the glut of 'Quick Spelling Fun' and 'Easy Addition' quizzes that we were inundated with last winter.

Also, keep in mind that there's a difference between "WordPuzzles" and "Trivia Quizzes". One category contains *puzzles* about *words*, and the other is supposed to contain *quizzes* with *trivia*.

They're not TriviaPuzzles nor WordQuizzes, although that may be an idea...
