THE QUIZ RATING SYSTEM

Just a few questions for the audience to initiate the conversation:

1. Do we really need 10 point system since usually we only use around five. Maybe it should be done in the manner simlar to EAward quizzes?

2. I have just taken a quiz, and being only the second taker, noticed that the first person rated it 9 when the quiz was really average, maybe 6 or 7.

Why do all new quizzes ratings start with either 9 or 8 and then the rating drops as there are more takers?

I've always felt it's because (I think) the first 3 points-givers are named, thereafter all are anonymous. No-one wants to be seen to be giving 1!
Much better if all points-givers are anonymous?

Remember everyone has differing opionins about what a "9" is and what a "5" is...the rating just reflects one's opinion.
