HELP! I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING!

So we went from dial-up to high-speed at my house, but when I click on sploofus my page is covered with X's. I can see text, and still play games, but any buttons, and the sploofus logo, and some images come up in a box with that nifty little x in the corner. I tried doing the 'right click--show picture' thing, but to no avail. Any ideas on what I should do? I can still play, but I wouldn't be able to if I didn't already know where the buttons are.
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you change web browsers at all?

Does this happen with other sites, or only here?

Did you completely rebooted after the hook-up?

While you are on the page with the "flaws", hit ctrl-F5.

Go to Tools, Internet Options, Privacy, Set it to the second mark from the bottom.

It is possible you have something filtering through your DSL connection. Check the settings on it.

I don't know if any of this will work, but it is worth a try.

Eesusbejesus (I could have written Lodi but that's so fun to type, LOL)--anyway, we went from having aol to an msn explorer browser. I am trying to get everyone onboard the mozilla train, but no takers yet. So, yes, new browser. I'll try what you said Tuzilla, and see if there are any changes.

Get Foxfire all loaded. You are going to need it for the music puzzle, anyway. If it is still flaky, then we will attack it further.

I use Safari, and it works really well too, for everything.

Also--I only noticed it on here, but I think I only went to maybe one other site.
We got Verizon (DSL, or whatever it's called), and that comes with the MSN Explorer stuff. If I change it to foxfire, will that change anything with signing on or email names or anything? Or is it just strictly a different browser view? Sorry for being annoying--I am technologically semi-literate.

When I chose my username I...

1. Didn't think anyone else would really be able to see it and just thought it would get me into the site, and

2. Didn't think about having to retype that whole thing over and over and over and over and over.....

I downloaded the mozilla firefox web browser and am really enjoying it. You should try it Beth.

Lodi, a couple of rock-solid members chose usernames they later regretted, and changed 'em. If you ever get to thinking you would like to change it, and you made an announcement first that you were changing, then everyone would still recognize you!
Just a thought.........!

I, unfortunately, have to add that the username can only be changed if it is offensive - or if there is some other serious issue. I get plenty of name change requests each day and it is not something that I do without a very legitimate reason.

Sorry...

Jeannarie, Safari is only available for Macs, I believe - at least, I've never seen it for anything else!

Sorry Justin, I did not realize that!
