Sorry you didn't catch on as this was one of the cleverest puzzles to come down the pike in a long time. Great job Barry and Dave.

Very clever. Several 5s. (Not mine, of course! ha)

Great job!

I caught on immediately, but some of the work seemed ... incomplete.

Had several fives but I think success in this one depended on which phrase you got first.

Great idea well-executed, guys.

Great puzzle. Was slightly thrown off by the first one, since I thought it was going to be about golf movies and that one had "sand" in the title. Made sense, right? So I figured the rest would have things like tees, birdies, etc. Thankfully, I caught on in the second puzzle

Hey great puzzle Barry, took me to clue 3 to get it, but then I was sleepy! Hey, a couple were doable with letters...how about that! Keep them coming, Ann

Glad most people liked it; credit to Daveguth too for his first collaboration.
It was a true joint effort.

Good point, Ken. In hindsight, I think we should have only had answers where there were no t's at all. That would have ruled out some of the more amusing puzzles ("Rainspotting" and "The Hun for Red October"), but I can see where leaving some of the t's might have created confusion. Sorry about that.

By the way, all credit for the puzzle's clever idea goes to Barry. I just contributed a few movie suggestions.

I had a perfect non-score going until I was stumped on puzzle 5 (it's *always* puzzle 5). All the movies seemed relatively recent so when I got "Lewis," I didn't really think of Jerry. (Fact is, I make it a point *never* to think of Jerry.) Went from a 4 to an 11 just like that. *sigh*

Lucky I scored as well as I did. I thought the " Lewis" clue I got was referring to Shari !
Nice collaboration and fun puzzle- kudos to the team!

Al, how many Peppermint Patties did you consume while completing the puzzle?
