Speaking of cryptography...

Does anyone know anything about Bletchley Park in the UK?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bletchley_Park

I stumbled across it on the internet. Fascinating. They apparently have an internet exhibit going now that traces the work they did in World War II (cracking the code of the Enigma Machine) to the internet as we know it today (via packet switched network.)

I follow them on Twitter.

In the Baltimore/Washington area, the National Cryptologic Museum is definitely worth a visit. http://www.nsa.gov/about/cryptologic_heritage/museum/ If you put a small group together, you can arrange for a docent's tour; those are fantastic. You'll sacrifice quantity for quality, instead of seeing everything, you'll be getting fascinating 15 minute lectures on, say, the Battle of Midway.

Thanks for the tip, Ken. I'm hoping to be up that way in a few months, and that would be a great place to visit.
