Here's a thought......... What if I could re-live ten individual days of my life again....which days would I choose?
I have five chosen already.

What's YOUR "Ten Days"?

This is a tough one. I think maybe the birth of my children and then I think NO, labor one time was enough, don't want to relive that.

My wedding day is a possibility.

My graduation with an associate degree.

That's only 2. I'll have to keep thinking on this one.

I have these'uns so far:

1. I remember a country drive with my Dad (now long gone) during the autumn to a place called Sutton Grange....that's one day I'd love to re-live.
2. Despite all the pain, I'd like to re-live the day my youngest daughter was born...she is such a joy.
3. I'd love to experience 3rd of October, 2001 again: the day I met Jeremiah in Vancouver.
4. Christmas Day 2002 was such a "Wow!" my first REAL Christmas: a white one in Alaska. If only I could do that'un again. (Thanks Helen )
5. Our wedding day in Anchorage, Alaska back earlier this year was so beautiful: I'd love to re-experience that.

......Oh there are many more, it's so hard to choose!!

I have 5 I'd like to relive just to do them a different way, and then spend the other 5 with my son before he started school.

But if I couldn't change anything, I'd relive any 9 days with my son before school age. I'd also choose one day the summer he was 16.

He and I had gone to visit family near Galveston. We took a day in Galveston, and we drove along the seawall looking for a parking spot. There was only one open - and directly in front of the space was a great convertible with 6 teenage guys sitting around and on the back of the car. I had to parallel park - not my fave thing to do. But I skooched into that little park perfectly. My son just shone with pride - he had been worried that I would embarrass him in front of those guys! Instead, he strutted out and opened the door for me! hahahaha My son is my favorite person in the whole world.

The day I got my first car

The day I got out of the army

The three days my sons were born

My first day at the company I retired from

The day I got my first NEW car.

The day I lost my virginity (this one might replace my first car)

My first visit to Michigans U.P.

I should really put my wedding day in here which turned out great but earlier included a traffic ticket, news that the alterations were not going to be done on my only suit (they were though), a semi- blizzard, and a head cold. She made me forget all that later of course.

Any good day with a loved one now gone.

The day I first met my wife, and our wedding day.

Several days with my whole immediate family.

The day I described in the "Funniest Holiday Memory" thread.

Add to my list: the day I met three very special Sploofus friends in Phoenix, Arizona! They took us to a desert park for an unforgettable picnic. It was SO exciting to meet them!

Nope, only times I did that were ...

(TMI spoiler)

... in 1986 and 1987.

Frankly, some of the audienceless sex was better.

Do as thou will.

Sounds like "it all depends what "is" is".....
Someone very famous said that, I think????

You don't say what is the "that" you did, in 1986 - 87
Were those the years when you had a partner/audience????
OR was that when you had the most fun - by yourself????

What I make of it is.... whatever it is and whenever it was....
it's all very normal - and isn't that why we have a right hand????
And lots of lovely toys....

Sorry Bev....forgot what this thread was about....

May 1959 - when they mad me the Tax Officer for the Teachers in Liverpool.
Having just left school, I thought that was the best Revenge.

Fall 1961 - when my boss said he was planning to promote me as one of the
youngest-ever Managers in the Liverpool Tax Office. He changed his mind when
I got married in 1962....the older business women on Sploofus will understand
how that used to go.

July 1967 - when my son was finally born alive, after 17 hours of intense, induced
labour....he always was a lazy boy!!!!

October 1968 - when my daughter was born and I kissed the doctor's hand because
he'd given me the "perfect family"

February 1974 - when my drunken husband finally took himself off, out, and away

April 1978 - the last time I saw my Uncle - surrogate father - alive. He was not a
demonstrative man, but he gave me a B IG HUG goodbye.

July 1981 - when I drove for the first time across Canada, and realized what a Huge
and diverse country this is. We spent a whole day playing with the Whales, in a small
boat off Newfoundland. Saw a Black Bear, with it's arms crossed, watching the traffic
on the highway, in Manitoba. Chased a camera-shy Elk through a forest in Alberta.
And later my son caught a small shark off the coast in Vancouver.

1995 - when I was earning $1000 a week at Chrysler....they put me on a job that no
woman had been allowed to do previously. Wanted to get rid of me...."the line" was not
built for short, left-handed, 53 year old women!!!! One day I earned over $200 for doing
nothing, because the cars kept falling off the line!!!!

2004 - when after 13 years of suing and pursuing a Fortune 500 company, they finally
settled for a reasonable amount.

2005 - when my mother came to stay with me in BC...and we were finally friends, after
63 years of turmoil and tears. ,
