I just looked at the link to "Upgrade Account" on the bottom of the page (under the NOW PLAYING window) and there are now THREE paying options: Silver, Gold, Platinum. Check it out!

I can't find an announcement on Hotwire. What's up? Any other changes?

No formal announcement was made, but the Silver Membership was released for the many hundreds (if not thousands) of Sploofusers that want to participate in the community aspects of Sploofus but are unwilling or unable to pay for Gold.

What's next? Sploofus Diamond memberships? Only $1,499.00 for 6 months! LOL!

Geez,...there's not even a diamond on my wedding band. That would be one tough sell to get the better half to agree to.

What does a Silver membership get you?

My bonus question of the day email discussing the silver memberships began by saying "Dear Hairball,".

I didn't know whether to laugh or be offended! lol

I'm so glad you all posted...I thought I just got "Destinyjello"'s email by mistake and I wasn't going to click on the Bonus Question. After reading your posts, I clicked on the Bonus and my heart sank. It was GEOGRAPHY...I hate geography questions! (I had to work really hard taking all of the Challenge quizzes, even though they turned out to be fun.) But i got was just a capital of a country, and I got to move to the next level.

I got mine too - my new codename is Bnsscott. I cannot pronounce my name. Hairball is so cool, though. Definitely jealous!

I'm wondering if it only happened to the paying members or something. My mother is a non-paying member and her email had the correct name.

The program should have worked without a hitch
But, of course, there was a glitch
So everyone had to read my pitch
Without knowing which witch was which

The Silver Membership is another niche
It's just not very feature rich
But the email glitch now has a stitch
I finally fixed that son of a...

Sorry about that folks. Operator error, actually. The witch part was only a joke - I couldn't think of anything else to rhyme.

I will give you the near rhyme since Emily Dickenson made a career out of mixing in jarring rhythms and near rhymes...but calling me Squarepants is a entirely different matter.
