SMOKE'S 10 TRIVIAL PURSUITS

Liked this a lot. The personal touch is always so much fun to do. Good job!

That was fun. Some memory lane moments for me.

(posted about the same time in another thread, so here's to this one)

Well, I loved it, but I happen to love the author...and know her better than I thought!

(I either got the easy ones, know her well or I am just brilliant! Did really well on this un! )

Thanks Smoke, for a fun puzzle!

Great puzzle with a lot of words you don't see every day here. Thank you, Donna.

FYI John, I did have one that was relatively easy.

My first puzzle was the stopper preventing a greater score, but it was great to solve all of them.
Well done Smoke!

Great puzzle; just downright fun (and that's the best kind of WP)

Thanks for the kind words! I wanted to make it pure word puzzle, totally googleproof, and that limits the subject matter. I'm surprised to hear there were hard ones or unusual words, be interested to know what those were?

Really enjoyed it and getting to know you a bit better was an added bonus.

Too bad I didn't start until 7:45 or I think I might have enjoyed my score better as well.

The "unusual" word I ran across was "family" - not that that's an usual word but for some bizarre reason I just couldn't get than one to click and plunked a bunch of letters into that puzzle. (although I do know several unusual families)

Unusual words - Sploofus (I keep tripping on this one), newspaper, FreeCell, Doberman Pinscher, Weimarauner, NASCAR, puzzle (always causes me problems), Thunderbird,

Really enjoyed the insight. Maybe this becomes a community WR theme? I didn't get any really troublesome words, though I did think calling 1000 nickels a modest price for the fruits of amateur photography might be overmodest.

I nearly submitted Freepers instead of FreeCell, and then I said to myself, "No way!"

Sorry for the tardy feedback, Donna. I really enjoyed this, thank you! I think my favorite phrase had to do with the number of trivia questions you've asked over the last five years. Wow! Anyway, lots of fun! Do you feel like posting the entire puzzle? I'd like to see all of the clues and phrases.

What's Freepers?

I also had the phrase with the dog breeds, but they didn't trip me up because I've looked at Donna's photos of her dogs on her profile. Very cute.

I think Freepers is a right wing wacko website. I looked it up at Wiki.

I have not seen any phrases with nascar or weimar before this WP. Most enjoyable.
