Loved the Puzzle. Growing up In New York It brought back a lot of fond memories. Went to see the Rockettes almost every Christmas and Easter.

I'm kicking myself over one word choice! (Not a particularly high kick, but a kick nonetheless.)

Fun puzzle. Wonder how long this tradition will last? I like traditions myself. I just read that on Christmas eve, more than 50% of Swedes will watch Donald Duck cartoons. Weird huh?

We loved it. Did it with JIM and my mom, who got in from Boulder tonight.

So, Al, you're a leg man.

I'll enjoy this later.

I liked it very much, save one word which cutely fit the idea but not the phrase it was in.

Thanks to everyone who took the puzzle and made a comment.
Here is the list of all ten clues/phrases. I think I know the "cute but " word referenced. To me, it falls under the "puzzletic license" of an author on Sploofus. Hey, I liked Liberace.

P.S. Check out this video link below of a great a cappella group called Straight No Chaser. They are touring and will be in York on April 20.
In tribute to the Rockettes- watch these guys do the Christmas Can Can.
Cheers and Merry Christmas!

ALVANDY Salutes the Rockettes

the group formed in nineteen twenty five then called the missouri rockets ("Kickin' in Saint Lou")
they kicked their world famous legs with liberace at the first wrestlemania ("No holds barred")
macys thanksgiving day parade and americas thanksgiving parade in detroit ("Parading every year")
took first kick into immortality opening night of radio city music hall ("The Roxyettes: 12-27-32")
the radio city music hall show is seen by over two million people each year ("Christmas Spectacular")
more than sixty five million people in thirty one cities have seen the show ("Touring since 1994")
in total there are two hundred girls on the roster at any one time ("Rockettes troupe")
each rockette will kick her legs three hundred times per show ("Who's counting?")
a stunning four hundred forty two thousand kicks by each girl per season ("Really, who's counting?")
while performing a christmas spectacular they make eight costume changes ("Quick dressers")
