Myself and Markied are both from God's own country - but exiled in the land of the Sassenachs! As for Surreyman - well he's just a bitter twisted Welshman!!

Two months in Perthshire count? I love Scotland and have seen quite a lot of it. Hope to go again within the next year or two and do the outer isles and the northwest. My husband was stationed at Holy Loch for two years, but that was before I knew him. We did our honeymoon as a motor tour that covered 1100 miles in 10 days, Ayrshire to Orkney. I've been back twice on my own since and have made some dear friends there. They were in Aberfeldy, but now moved down to Blackburn. Some of the most wonderful days of my life have been spent in your haunting, beautiful country.

My husband is from Fort William, Scotland.
Toured Scotland many years ago in one of those old type VW vans....not good for sleeping in when it rains every day!!!

My Favourite band are Scottish does that count?
I I usually score high on quizzes about Scotland, in fact on 'test how Scottish you are' on a different site I got 100% does that count?
I have been there more than once and my next visit is planned.

I am half Irish and live in Ireland and every one knows the Sctots are just like us - but a bit tougher ROFL

Markieboy - didn't you mean - well he's YET ANOTHER bitter twisted Welshman (Runs to hide from Surryman):D:D:D

Like Vickie, I have Scot running in my blood (I knew if I wrote scotch I'd never hear the end of it) I descend from clans in the Highlands, but that was 12 and 14 generations ago. Anyone here of the Clan Munro or the Clan Logan?

I occasionally have scotch running in my blood, preferably single malt Islay.

I have visions of writing about hiding a Christmas pickle on here...I had a feeling the same thing would happen if I wrote that I had scotch in my blood LOL

I am an expat Scot! Born Helensburgh, grew up in Australia, live in Leicester, England these days, still have family in the Dumbarton area. "Lang may yer lum reek!" Iain.
