Just had a momentary failure for the site under firefox, but it fixed itself. Maybe you hit an 8pm word puzzle drowning?

I've had explorer crash with me so much I switched to Firefox. It did fine for two weeks, then it started. I haven't added any programs or anything. I still have the 'lag' going on. Renee

I made the mistake of thinking that IE 8 had enough time to have worked out its bugs..... HA, I already have the worlds slowest computer and it simply would not load sites that I use routinely, without problem, what a pain in the ass!! I went back to IE7 and things are normal again!

I finally got sick of Justin's lack of attention to the Sploofus Corporation and have just taken certain quizzes, as the pages freeze up. Waiting up to 6 minutes for the next question to come up (I timed it a few times with my timer) isn't worth another paid membership fee. It is not your computers, unless you have problems with other web sites. I don't. This has been going on for more time than it should have, being it is a Corporation. Heck, I've been through 2 divorces and never failed to meet my obligations. If anything, my obligations gave me the time I needed to get through the divorces, but then again, my obligations were far more different than Justin's.
Besides, promises have been made for a better Sploofus way too many times to give them any thought. I'm just happy that the site is still up and running for now, so I thank the editors for their support and thank Justin for being grateful to the editors.
Regardless, I wish Justin success with his new life. Like he said in one breath,"Sploofus isn't about me" and in other breaths that Sploofus is his love, his baby, etc.
Which ever it may be it is his business. I just hope his business turns out to be successful.

I've been here just over a year as a paying member. Like all the other regular quiz writers, and the editors, i've done a hell of a lot more for this site than i've seen Justin do in that time. People have to earn my trust, and i've seen him do nothing yet to earn mine. Do people come here to take quizzes, or to read begging letters amd whinging ?

I have trouble with this site and Facebook! All other sites are fine. I use Firefox,at first I just loved it,but I am having so much trouble with it freezing up,I wonder if it is that, instead of the sites

I gave up on IE (maybe because I use such an old version) and use Firefox for everything but a quick google now. Haven't had any trouble to speak of with sploofus, tho an occasional resend is necessary. One reason may be that I avoid prime times...8-9 for example right after puzzles go up, and after dinner in the east US.

If two sites or more are giving you trouble tho, I'd suspect my internet provider first. The cable people are having to serve way more downloads in movie and TV watching on the internet....I'm surprised everything hasn't crawled to a halt! If you're at the end of the chain......

Always be careful of what you hope for, especially the issue of Sploofus Corporation. It may soon be dead and buried.
